Semper praeparans
I was born in Berkmannville, Massachusetts in the middle of the 20th century.
I learned to touch type on a 33 ASR teletypewriter.
The most expensive substance I’ve ever purchased is pertussis toxin. It cost $30,800,000 per gram in 2008 dollars (no, I didn’t buy a whole gram).
This stuff makes plutonium look cheap. If you believe Wikipedia, it’s even more expensive than californium-252(!). (Antimatter does cost more, if you consider that a “substance”.)
This blog is dedicated to my nerdy interests, mostly to share what I’ve learned with my fellow nerds – I learn so much from other people’s postings, it seems obligatory to share a little of my own experience. I have another blog focused on my opinions – it gets about 1/5th^H^H^H^H^H 1/20th^H^H^H^H^H^H 1/80th the traffic that this one does (and declining, it seems).
Which goes to show that people don’t care what you think – they care only what you know.

Hi. Thank you for the excellent Eudora to Gmail article.
Do you offer this as a service? I don’t think I can this.
Thanks in advance. -Gerard
Very much enjoyed your site. If you don’t already have a copy, I would be glad to send you ( as a gift) a copy of my favorite book, The inventions of Daedalus by David Jones.
